📣 Schedule Update for the Upcoming School Year

Dear Students and Families,

We want to let you know that student schedules are still being finalized and are not yet complete. Thank you for your patience as we continue working through the details.

📅 Final schedules will be distributed at Big Bash on August 27th.
At that time, if there is an issue that needs to be corrected (e.g. needing a certain graduation credit that you do not see in your schedule), we will absolutely work with you to resolve it.

However, please note:
We will not be making changes to accommodate requests for:

Being in classes with friends

Specific lunch times

Teacher preferences

Our goal is to ensure that all schedules are accurate, balanced, and in the best interest of each student’s academic needs.

Ms. Streebig and Mrs. Lauer and other WOCO colleagues and community partners just wrapped up 3 days studying the complex ecosystems of Maryland’s Coastal bays and coastal plains. They integrated the science of the area with the rich ecological history of this amazing place we call home. So many amazing learning experiences were had that they continue to bring back to the classroom year after year working with these amazing partners, including (but not limited to) Maryland Coastal Bays programming, Assateague Island National Seashore, Horn Point Laboratory as well as other scientists from around the region who contribute to a massive body of research that integrates all of the things that they convey in their classes. A huge thank you and a shout out to all who are involved to help make these experiences so rich.
