A huge THANK YOU to our amazing custodial team for all of their hard work this summer getting our building ready! We appreciate everything you’ve done behind the scenes to make sure we’re ready to welcome everyone back.

Fall Sports begin this Wednesday, August 12th. All athletes must have an up to date sports physical and an up to date registration on FamilyID. Additionally, if you have any school obligations, you cannot participate in tryouts.

🎓 Class of 2027 Senior SOAR Day was a huge success!
Our seniors spent the day preparing for an exciting year ahead by exploring college, career, and trade opportunities. They connected with local community partners, businesses, colleges, and trade schools to learn about the many paths available after graduation.
Students also attended informative presentations led by our Senior Counselor, Mrs. Mora, and our Career Coach, Ms. Cloud, who shared valuable guidance on navigating senior year, planning for life after graduation, and taking advantage of the many opportunities available to them.
A special thank you to the Ocean City Police Department, Seaside Plumbing, Lower Shore Workforce Alliance, Wor-Wic Community College, Towson University, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES), Salisbury University, ATI, and all of our other presenters for investing in the future of our students.
The Class of 2027 is off to a strong start, and we can't wait to see all they accomplish this year. Their futures are bright, and they're ready to do big things!

Our Coaches and Athletic Administration took part in the Mental Health Training Camp hosted by the Baltimore Ravens, the Baltimore Orioles and Sheppard Pratt.
Getting insight from current and former professional athletes and mental health professionals, this training focused on bringing together the world of sports and mental health to foster resilience, well-being, and success for the next generation of athlete.

SHHS Outdoor Academy's final week of the summer ended with exploring our National Seashore, Assateague Island, Maryland. Students researched and studied the Storm of 1962 this week and the plans for the development of Assateague prior to its conservation act in 1964. Students explored the ecosystem and history at the Assateague Island Visitor Center and hiked South Beach to the remnants of Baltimore Blvd. We hope everyone has a great summer! #getoutside #learnoutside
