We are excited to announce that we will stream the 2024 Senior Boardwalk Parade on the SDHSSports YouTube Channel this afternoon. Parade begins at 5:30 and it goes from 26th St to North Division.

Worcester County Public Schools will open one-hour late today, Tuesday, May 21, 2024, due to foggy conditions. Buses will operate accordingly. All school programs will begin following the one-hour delay.

For the second year in a row, teams from Stephen Decatur High School took 1st and 3rd in the Eastern Shore Junior Achievement STOCK MARKET CHALLENGE.
1st place - Omar Al-Mashni, Seth Ashcraft, Tobias Walas
3rd place - Jared Rabideau, Mary Short, Maddy Tapley
The JA Stock Market Challenge® introduces learners to the stock market. Participants learn the basics through JA Take Stock in Your Future® and apply their learning in a fast-paced simulated stock market environment where each day is only one minute long. Students must make decisions quickly about a set of fictional stocks and interpret current events and trends in the market.

Shout out to Lotus Wise!
Wise, a sophomore, is currently ranked top 10 in the region for the 400m, the long jump, and the triple jump. She is also ranked 12th in our region for the 200m dash.
In Bayside Conference competition, she earned a top 3 podium place in all four events in which she competed: 2nd in the 200m, 1st in the 400m, 3rd in the long jump, and 1st in the triple jump.
Wise will compete on Wednesday and Thursday in the 3A East Region, with hopes of advancing to the state meet next week.
