9th Graders: Be ready on Wednesday for the PSAT 9. The PSAT 9 administration will be held on OCT 16th from 8:00AM-11:00AM in the math and science hallways. Students will need a fully charged, updated iPad to be able to take this exam. Please check Schoology for room assignments and general announcements.

Parents and Family members: Just a reminder that we have Parent-Teacher conferences tomorrow (Thursday) evening from 5 - 7 PM. In addition to our senior informational meeting, we will have an After Prom Committee table set up where parents/family members can sign up to volunteer. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an awesome team, brainstorm themes & fun ideas, and help sponsor one of the most memorable nights for our Decatur students. On behalf of the Walsh family and the entire Stephen Decatur High School community, we’d like to express our sincerest appreciation for the overwhelming support we have received in the wake of Tyler’s accident. From churches to businesses to schools, many of which are from outside our district, we have seen so many acts of kindness and have received hundreds of messages of support. To our Bayside South schools, thank you is not enough. It’s been both heartwarming and humbling to see you turn your school colors to orange. The trailblazing adventurer Amelia Earhart said, “A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions.” These roots are strong and our Seahawk community could not be more thankful.
