Super proud of these hardworking student athletes! 🔥
Congratulations to our individual wrestling #StateChamps! The Maryland State Championship Tournament capped off another amazing season for Decatur Wrestlling. This year has been full of challenges and adversity from day one of the season as injuries and sickness swept through the team. Our kids battled through a tough dual and tournament schedule. Along with our team state championship we had 3 individual champions crowned on Saturday night. Along with 2 runners up we had 2 wrestler place 4th and one 6th. Our girls team finished tied for 4th in the team standings with only 5 of the 14 weights scoring on the tournament. I couldn’t be more proud of how both our boys and girls performed this season.

Gavin Solito 157lbs
AJ Johnson 190lbs (first ever SDHS girls champ)

Our Annual Beach Supply Drive for Believe in Tomorrow's House By the Sea begins next week, March 11 - April 19.
Collection boxes are located in our main office and at Ocean Pines Recreation and Parks.
Let’s help children fighting critical illnesses.
Let’s show them there’s no place like the beach.
Thank you for your support!

It was a productive day for members of our Surfrider Foundation - Ocean City Maryland Chapter SDHS club as they Zoomed with representatives of our United States Congress and advocated for legislation that protects our environment during the 8th annual U.S. Hill Day.

Many thanks to Advisor Mary Hathaway for setting up this wonderful opportunity for many of our Worcester County Public Schools MD students.

Vadella goes to Annapolis
Senior Abigail Vadella not only represented Stephen Decatur High School well, but also Worcester County Government, Maryland as a Maryland General Assembly Page.
Her weeklong experience brought her closer to state issues and the legislative process, and allowed her to interact with Maryland elected officials.
